Dave Borgonzi is in his second season as an
assistant with the Harvard football program. He assists with the
Crimson defensive secondary.
Borgonzi recruits the atlantic section of the
United States including Washington, D.C, Virginia, Maryland,
Delaware, Missouri and Iowa. He also assists with recruiting
efforts in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Kentucky, West Virginia,
Wyoming, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Last year Harvard ranked sixth nationally in pass
efficiency defense with three players being named all-league and
cornerback Matthew Hanson earning Rookie of the Year honors.
Prior to arriving in Cambridge, Borgonzi spent two
seasons as a graduate assistant coach at Syracuse where he worked
as the Orange's assistant defensive line coach while also assisting
the program's recruiting and special teams efforts. While at
Syracuse, Borganzi worked towards an advanced degree in education.
Borgonzi was a three-year starter while an
undergraduate at Amherst College. Named a team captain in his
senior year, Borgonzi graduated with a degree in law, jurisprudence
and social thought.
Borgonzi currently resides in Everett.
