Juszczyk, Hodges Named to All-America Teams

BOSTON, Mass. – Harvard senior tight end Kyle Juszczyk and sophomore defensive end Zach Hodges have been named to the CollegeSportsMadness.com 2012 All-America teams.

Juszczyk is a first team selection while Hodges earned second team honors. Harvard has had at least one All-American in each of the last 14 years.

Harvard garnered two of the three All-America honors from the Ivy League.

Juszczyk, now a two-time All-America selection, led the Ivy League with eight touchdown receptions and led a potent Harvard team with 52 catches for 706 yards (13.6 ypc). For his career, he set the mark for all Harvard tight ends with 125 catches for 1,576 yards and 22 touchdowns.

Despite not starting a game and playing as part of a 10-player rotation on the defensive line, Hodges got into opposing backfields with alarming regularity. He ranked seventh nationally in both sacks (9.0) and tackles for a loss (16.0). He finished the year with 32 tackles (23 solo) and 13 QB hurries.

Harvard went 8-2 overall and defeated Yale, 34-24 to earn a program-record sixth straight win over the Bulldogs as well as the 11th victory over the Elis in the last 12 years. The season marked Harvard's Ivy League-record 12th-straight season with at least seven wins – with no other Ivy team even having seven such seasons.
