Harvard's Josue Ortiz to Play in National All-Star Game

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Harvard defensive tackle Josue Ortiz has been invited to play in the Players All-Star Classic, a college football all-star game that will be played at War Memorial Stadium, AT&T Field in Little Rock, Ark. Feb. 4 at 4 p.m.

Ortiz will play for the North team and is currently the only Ivy League player represented. The 2011 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, Ortiz was a unanimous first team honoree after leading the league with 10 solo sacks. He ranked fourth in the league with 14.5 tackles for a loss and had two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble.

Harvard's team MVP, Ortiz was recognized on six national All-America teams including the Associated Press and The Sports Network.

Current NFL and United Football League (UFL) coaches Kurt Schottenheimer and Martin Bayless will coach  year's game. Schottenheimer will coach the South team and Bayless will head up the North team.
