CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard and Dartmouth will meet under the lights for the first time in football at Harvard Stadium October 29, 2011 at 6 p.m.
The game had originally been scheduled for noon but was moved to 6 p.m. after Dartmouth agreed to the switch, providing fans with another option to see a night game at the historic Stadium.
The Crimson is undefeated in home night games with a 4-0 all-time record.
All children, 12 years old and under, receive free admission to home football games (non-Yale) with no limit to the number of children per family.
A new online ticketing system is available 24 hours/day at tickets.gocrimson.com. Crimson fans can easily go online to renew or purchase season tickets, as well as additional items such as Kids Club memberships and video board messages. Tickets.gocrimson.com also provides fans with up-to-date game and promotional information for all Harvard Athletics ticketed events. Tickets are also available via phone at 617-495-2211 or in person at the Harvard Athletic Ticket Office.
Single-game tickets go on sale August 1 at 9 a.m.
The Crimson opens its season Sept. 17 at Holy Cross before making its home debut on Friday, Sept. 23 against brown under the lights at Harvard Stadium.
Following road games at Lafayette (Oct. 1) and Cornell (Oct. 8), the Crimson returns home for three straight home games. On Oct. 15 Harvard plays its final non-conference game when the Crimson takes on Bucknell in the teams' first meeting since 1997. Harvard then steps back into league play against Princeton (Oct. 22) before hosting the Big Green.
After a road game at Columbia on Nov. 5, Harvard plays its final home game Nov. 12 at noon against Penn on Versus TV. The Crimson then travels to Yale for the 128th playing of The Game in New Haven, Conn., also televised live on Versus TV.
