2009: Honorable Mention All-Ivy League ... Started all 10
games and ranked fourth on the team with 38 tacklezs (21 solo)
while intercepting three passes and breaking up five ... Had six
tackles, including three solo, and two pass breakups in a
win over Brown on Sept. 25 ... Had an interception and three solo
tackles in a win at Lehigh ... Had interceptions in consecutive
wins against Dartmouth and at Columbia ... Had a fumble recovery
against Penn ... Had five tackles against Yale with four solo
efforts.
2008: Appeared in eight games, missing two with
injuries ... Ranked fourth on team with 50 tackles (25 solo) and

recipient of the New England Football Writers' Gold Helmet Award.
After missing two games, Barnes intercepted three passes with two
of them coming in the end zone, as Harvard topped Penn, 24-21. His
third of the afternoon came in the final seconds in the back of the
end zone with Penn looking to take the lead late. He also had three
pass breakups to finish with six passes defended, and also had five
tackles including four solo ... Had 10 tackles against Lehigh.
