Baseball Announces 2018 Recruiting Class

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Joseph O'Donnell '67 MBA '71 Head Coach for Baseball, Bill Decker, announced the nine incoming freshmen as the Class of 2021 today (Nov. 1). Nine freshmen will join the roster following a season where the Crimson earned three All-Ivy selections, including two first-team, and sent 20 players to summer leagues around the country. The newcomers hail from six states and have achieved numerous awards in both athletics and academics.

"Our first year players have collectively added depth and competition to their respective positions.  They have been very diligent and supportive as first year teammates.  The group's overall work ethic is what we thought it would be; solid and consistent.  A few have made their presence known while others need to continue with their rehab and get healthy," said Bill Decker, The Joseph J. O'Donnell '67 MBA '71 Head Coach for Baseball.

Harvard baseball ended the 2017 season 19-23 overall, 7-13 in the Ivy League and placed sixth in the conference.
