Perlman Named Ivy League Baseball Pitcher of the Week
PRINCETON, N.J. - Harvard senior pitcher Max Perlman (Longwood, Fla.) has been named as the Ivy League's Pitcher of the Week in an announcement made Tuesday morning.
Perlman threw a complete-game shutout against division-leading Yale last Friday afternoon, striking out 10 batters and scattering four singles. Yale did not advance a runner past second base against the former freshman All-American.
Perlman leads the Ivy League with a 1.69 earned run average this season. He has allowed just 41 hits in 53.1 innings with 51 strikeouts.
