Tied for team lead with 12 appearances ... Posted a .194 batting average against with runners on base ... Threw 1.1 innings of hitless, scoreless relief against Ohio State on 3/23 ... Had a pair of effective relief outings in a twinbill against Princeton on 4/7, retiring three of the four batters he faced ... Retired the only batter he faced in the seventh inning against Dartmout to earn a hold ... Earned a win in a 4-3 victory over Northeastern on 5/1 after throwing 3.1 innings of hitless relief with five strikeouts.

Freshman (2006):
Had his season end early due to a separated shoulder ... Made five appearances in all with two starts ... Did not allow an earned run in 2.0 innings of relief work in his collegiate debut at then 13th-ranked Florida on 3/11 .. Earned his first collegiate start at Barry on 3/27, striking out four batters in 3.0 innings in a no-decision.

Background:
Hails from Ambler, Pa. and attended Upper Dublin HS where he was a four-year starter as a pitcher and first baseman ... Was a two-time First Team pitcher and Second Team first baseman as a junior and senior in the Suburban One American Conference ... Named team MVP during both those seasons ... Four-year member of the Student Government and was also a National Honor Society member.
