On the mound, he made nine appearances, including one start ... Went 2-0 with a 5.30 ERA ... Recorded a save in a 3-2 win over St. John's with 1.2 innings of hitless relief ... Also picked up a save in a 13-9 win over Lynn, when he went 1.1 innings without allowing a hit, striking out two ... Longest outing of the year came in the opening round of the Beanpot when he tossed 3.2 innings of relief and only yielded an unearned run to collect his first career win ... Two-thirds inning of relief against Quinnipiac in a 12-11 win secured his second victory.

Son of James Meehan and Patricia White ... Member of the National Honor Society and Peer Advocates ... Named Who's Who in America in both junior and senior years ... In the summer of 2005, Meehan played for the Pittsfield Dukes of the New England Collegiate Baseball League, starting one of the three games that he appeared in the lineup and appearing in nine games with five starts on the mound. He finished second on the team with a 4.29 ERA with two complete games. In all, he posted a 3-4 record with 235 strikeouts in 42.0 innings. He allowed opposing hitters just a .201 batting average against him.
