Named the Ivy League Co-Rookie of the Year by the coaches, becoming the third Crimson player in the last four years to win the award ... Was the lone freshman in the league to be ranked among either the top 10 pitchers or batters ... Posted a 2-1 record and a 2.63 ERA in league games with 26 strikeouts in 27.1 innings ... Had 40 strikeouts in 50.0 innings overall in 13 appearances and nine starts ... Made his first collegiate start at then 13th-ranked Florida on 3/10 and retired 15 of 16 batters after allowing the first two to reach base ...
