Front Desk Associate
We are seeking friendly, reliable, conscientious individuals to
work the front desk at both the Malkin Athletic Center and
Hemenway. Enjoy interacting with the Harvard community in a fitness
environment while learning skills in customer service, time
management, multi-tasking, and dispute resolution. Responsibilities
include greeting members, controlling access, handling all front
desk transactions, and answering questions. Hours range from
5:30am-11pm weekdays and 8-9pmweekends; staff work 3-20 hours per

Fitness Staff
We are currently hiring staff with excellent customer service
skills to work in the fitness areas at Hemenway Gymnasium and the
Malkin Athletic Center. This position entails, but is not limited
to providing excellent customer service to members, monitoring
fitness areas, organizing the weight rooms, ensuring safe and
proper use of equipment, light cleaning of equipment, etc. Previous
experience in the fitness industry is not necessary. The time
commitment is a minimum of 4 and maximum of 20 hours per week.
Current shifts are available on weekday afternoons and evenings as
well as weekend afternoons. All interested candidates should email

Group Exercise Instructors
Harvard offers a full schedule of recreation classes, including
yoga, pilates, group exercise, indoor cycling, aqua aerobics, and
more. We are currently auditioning instructors for the Fall 2008
schedule. If you are certified, enthusiastic, reliable, and
want to join a fun and supportive team, fill out an application at
the front desk of the Malkin Athletic Center of Hemenway Gymnasium.

Lifeguards
The Department of Athletics is accepting applications for
lifeguards to work 17 hours or less per week. Must possess current
certification in the following areas: American Red Cross and/or
equivalent certification in Lifeguard Training, Community First Aid
Training, CPR for the Professional Rescuer. If interested, please
