Tim Smith joined the sports medicine staff in 2008-09. He works with the Crimson men's lacrosse, women's soccer and men's and women's squash teams.

Smith arrived at Harvard in the fall of 2008 after serving as an assistant athletic trainer at Marist for two years. Previously, he was an assistant athletic trainer at Western New England College from 2005-2006.

He is a 2002 graduate of Cortland State with a B.S. in athletic training and earned a master's in exercise science from East Stroudsburg in 2005.

A member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Smith is a certified athletic trainer.

Smith resides in Andover, Mass., with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons, Christian and Nathan.
