John King joined the sports medicine Staff in the fall of 1999. He works with the field hockey, wrestling, men's volleyball and men's and women's fencing teams.

A native of Port Henry, N.Y., King attended Ithaca College for his undergraduate and graduate education. He earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science/athletic training with a minor in health in 1997. In 1999, he earned a master's degree in sports psychology.

Prior to joining the staff King served as a graduate assistant at Cornell University while working towards his graduate degree at Ithaca. John served as an athletic trainer for the Men's USA Lacrosse World Team tryouts in 1998.

King is an avid golfer and also enjoys hiking and skiing. He resides in Belmont, Mass.
