Corey Lanois joined the Harvard medical staff in a full-time capacity prior to the start of the 2013-14 season. He will handle the athletic training needs of the women’s rugby team.
Prior to his role of athletic trainer, Lanois served as a senior co-op athletic training student at Harvard in 2010. He evaluated injuries and illness of student-athletes as well as designed and implemented therapeutic programs for orthopedic injuries, pre- and post-operation.
Before returning to Harvard, Lanois worked as a graduate assistant at Illinois State University, providing care for the men’s and women’s cross country and track and field teams.
The Woonsocket, R.I. native, is a licensed athletic trainer in Massachusetts and an active member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Assocation.
A 2011 graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in athletic training, Lanois received a M.S. in athletic training from Illinois State University in 2013.
