Brett Moore joined the Harvard staff in August 2011 as an athletic communications intern. He will be working with a variety of sports for the Crimson.

Before joining Harvard, Moore received the College Sports Information Directors of America (COSIDA) Phil Langan Graduate Internship Grant to work as a full-time intern at Illinois Wesleyan University. During the 2010-11 school year, Moore produced media guides, wrote game notes and kept statistics at all basketball, football, soccer and baseball games. In addition to day-to-day tasks with the athletic department, Moore helped in the production of the 2011 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Final Four held at the Shirk Center in Bloomington, Ill.

A graduate of Illinois Wesleyan in 2010 with a B.A. in business administration, he worked in the university communications office where he prepared game programs, updated biographies and kept statistics for the athletic department as a student. Brett was also a member of the baseball team and captained the 2010 NCAA Division III national championship team at IWU.

Moore, who resides in Allston, Mass., completed a master’s degree in sport management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2012.
