Chris Hill joined the Harvard Athletic Department as an athletic communications intern in August 2011. He is responsible for assisting with the publicity and promotion of all 41 Crimson athletic programs.

The Buffalo, N.Y., native worked for two years as a graduate assistant with Canisius College, a division I program in Western N.Y.  Hill acted as the main media contact for women’s soccer, cross country, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and synchronized swimming, while assisting with the other 11 varsity sports.

During 2010 Hill was an intern with Episcopal SeniorLife Communities assisting with the marketing and public relations efforts which included writing press releases and feature articles for the companies’ quarterly newsletter and informing local media about upcoming events.

Hill earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations at the State University of New York at Oswego where he spent two years as the sports director of the campus television station (WTOP).

Hill is currently finishing his master’s degree in sports administration at Canisius College.
