Jordan Field
Emergency
Communication:
1. An emergency call box is located on the light post between
fields 2 & 3 and is designated with a blue light over the box.
This is a direct line to Harvard University Police Department.
2. It is encouraged that someone present on the field be
responsible for having a fully charged cellular phone in case of
emergency.

Equipment:
1. An AED for public access located at the front desk of Beren
Tennis Center.
Emergency
Personnel Roles
1. Immediate care of injured or ill student-athlete.
2. Activation of emergency medical system (EMS).
a. Call Professional Ambulance at (617) 492-2700 (provide name,
location, telephone number, number of individuals injured,
condition of injured, first aid treatment, specific directions,
other information as requested, hang up last!).
b. Notify Harvard University Police Department at (617)
495-1212.
3. Direction of EMS to scene.
a. Open appropriate gates.
i. The access gate to the field should unlocked but not opened.
Please direct someone to open the gate for emergency personnel
access.
ii. The gate to access the field directly will also have been
closed but not locked for play on the turf. Please designate
someone to open this gate.
b. Designate individual to "flag down" EMS and direct to scene.
c. Scene control: limit scene to first aid responders and move
bystanders away from area.
Venue
Directions:
Jordan Field is located adjacent to Beren Tennis Center in the
Harvard Athletic Complex. on North Harvard Street in Allston.
Access to the athletic complex is gained through Gate 6 from North
Harvard Street. Entrance onto Jordan field is gained through the
main gate to the venue
