Emergency Communication

1. A pay telephone is located in hallway near the monitors desk.

2. It is recommended that someone from your group be designated to have a fully charged cellular phone available at all times in case of emergency.

Emergency Equipment

1. An AED for public access located at the front desk at the lower level entrance.

Emergency Personnel Roles

1. Immediate care of injured or ill student-athlete.
2. Activation of emergency medical system (EMS).
   1. Call 911 or Professional Ambulance at (617) 492-2700 (provide name, location, telephone number, number of individuals injured, condition of injured, first aid treatment, specific directions, other information as requested, hang up last!).
   2. Notify Harvard University Police Department at (617) 495-1212.
3. Direction of EMS to scene.
   1. Open appropriate gates.
   2. Designate individual to "flag down" EMS and direct to scene.
   3. Scene control: limit scene to first aid responders and move bystanders away from area.

Venue Directions

Gordon Track & Tennis Center is located in the athletic complex at Harvard University on North Harvard Street in Allston. Access to the athletic complex is gained through Gate 6 from North Harvard Street. Entrance into the Track is gained through the ground level doors located at the stadium side of the Track.
