Caleb Zimmick - Men's Volleyball

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Caleb Zimmick of the men’s volleyball team has been named the COOP Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 17.

Zimmick helped his team pick up two wins this weekend as the Crimson outlasted Princeton, 3-2, before blanking George Mason, 3-0. In the first match, the junior finished the night with a .571 hitting percentage while recording 13 kills and three blocks against the Tigers. The Middleton, Wis., native returned to the court to set a new career-high .636 hitting percentage with eight kills, while turning in three aces and five blocks against George Mason. The victory was the Crimson’s first ever sweep of the Patriots.

The Crimson is now 4-3 overall and 3-0 in EIVA play. Harvard will hit the road to take on Saint Francis (PA) on Friday, Feb. 21 before facing Penn State Saturday, Feb. 22.
