CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Maksim Korolev of the men's cross country team has been named the COOP Athlete of the Week for Nov. 24.
Korolev finished third overall at the NCAA Championships, earning USTFCCCA Cross Country All-America honors. He ran the 10k race with a time of 29:59.5, narrowly missing second place by 0.4 of a second. The Northeast Region Athlete of the Year, Korolev became the first Harvard male runner to finish in the top-25 of the NCAA meet since Paul Gompers '86-87 placed fifth.
