CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Brianna Laing of the women’s ice hockey team has been named the COOP Athlete of the Week for Nov. 17.
In her first collegiate start, the freshman goaltender stopped 21 shots against ECAC foe Colgate to earn her first shutout in a 2-0 win for the No. 6 Crimson. The victory moves the Crimson to 6-1-1 overall and marked the fourth clean sheet of the season for Harvard, including second on the ice of the Bright-Landry Hockey Center. Harvard welcomes Boston University on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. for its first nonconference game of the season.
