CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Caroline Holte has been named the Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week for September 10, 2013.
Holte helped Harvard become the only Ivy League team to open the
season with an undefeated record (2-0) during the first weekend of
action. She led Harvard's defensive charge with 13 blocks,
including 12 during a 3-1 win over Hofstra. Her 11 block assists
and one solo block marked the most by a Harvard player
since Sandra Lynne Fryhofer '12 totaled 13 at Georgia
State on Sept. 3, 2011.
Holte also contributed 11 kills on 29 attempts for a .276 hitting percentage during the weekend.
It's Holte's second career COOP award after winning October 9, 2012.
