CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – After a career day, Harvard football’s Colton Chapple has been named the Harvard COOP Athlete of the Week for Oct. 11. The junior quarterback threw for 414 yards on 23 completions and four touchdowns to lead the Crimson to a 41-31 win at Cornell Oct. 8. Chapple’s career-high yardage is the second-highest single-game passing mark in school history. During a pivotal seven-minute stretch in the second half, Chapple threw three touchdown passes to turn a four-point deficit into a 17-point lead for Harvard. For his efforts, the Alpharetta, Ga., native was named Ivy League Player of the Week. Behind Chapple, the Crimson won its third consecutive game and improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Ivy League.
