CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Following a third-place finish at the 2010 NCAA Northeast Regional Meet, Daniel Chenoweth has been selected as the COOP Athlete of the Week for Nov. 15.
Chenoweth paced the Crimson runners with a time of 29:51.2 on the 10k course at Hammonasett Beach State Park. In a meet featuring 229 runners, Chenoweth finished just 14 seconds behind the meet winner and three seconds behind the second-place finisher.
This marks the fourth time this season that Chenoweth has finished in the top three, including a win at the dual meet against Yale and a runner-up finish at the Heptagonal Championship. Chenoweth has also been selected as one of four runners from the Northeast region to compete in the NCAA Championships on Nov. 22 at Terre Haute, Ind. This will be the third time he competes at the NCAA Championships.
